MAKING A DIFFERENCE WHERE IT COUNTS

Our Story

This nonprofit was created due to the tragedy of losing our loved one who was twenty-five-year-old Malik Jones. Malik was a graduate, he was always loving, caring, giving and never passed up the opportunity to speak about his love of God. Malik was an important part of our family, not only as a son but as a grandson, a brother, a nephew, an uncle, a friend and longtime boyfriend to his special lady. Malik kept a smile on his face, positive attitude and made an impact on anyone's path he crossed. Checking in on and praying daily for those he encountered. Malik was pursuing his dream of becoming a music producer and encouraged younger generations to complete their education. Because Malik was such a selfless person it is only fitting to set up a nonprofit to keep his memory alive as well as help the community where his family and friends continue to remember Malik. Malik went missing on January 30, 2024, in Columbia, MO. Malik was found 8 days later by his sister and mother, deceased in the woods. With the legal proceeding underway, we must reflect on the unpleasantries of the situation, however, we choose to REMEMBER Malik the way he was and construct positivity from the tragedy.
